There are so many beautiful locations to take photos in the Huntsville area, and one of our absolute favorites is the Huntsville Botanical Garden. Whether we’re looking for a colorful backdrop of different types of flowers or just a simple, manicured lawn, we can always find the perfect spot here. Huntsville Botanical Garden family photos just turn out so beautiful every time.

This was a particularly special session because it took place on this sweet mama’s birthday. I can’t think of a better way to spend my birthday than taking photos with the people I love most. It can be so easy to only prioritize taking photos on kiddos’ birthdays, but mom deserves to be celebrated just as much.

As a family photographer, we know how important it is to document all the precious seasons with kids, especially when they’re little. They just grow up so fast! We always have so much fun running around and playing with the kiddos at our sessions, and these two were no exception—they are soooo precious.

Whenever families ask us how to prepare their kids for family photos, we always recommend bringing bribery (if you want to know our other tips, check out this article next!). This family absolutely NAILED it–they brought a cake pop and held it up next to the camera whenever the kiddos started to get antsy. And let me tell you, that cake pop brought out some of the best smiles I’ve ever seen.
