While taking these Delano Park family & maternity photos, we asked Bekah and Jeff if they’d picked out a name for baby #4 yet. Before they could answer, big sister Rosie let us know (with total confidence) that her new baby sister would be named Jolene. Apparently this began at an early midwife appointment where Rosie, who’d been listening to lots of Dolly Parton, spontaneously announced the name. Even though mom and dad had never considered the name Jolene, Rosie’s been calling her that ever since—and now it just might stick. ;)

Something we love about taking Delano Park family & maternity photos is the playground right there in the park. After we finished documenting the whole family, Jeff took the kids to go play, giving Bekah a chance to turn off mom-brain and just focus on her own pictures! We always recommend including the whole family in maternity photos (if you’re interested in the topic, check out this blog post next!), but we also love celebrating mama on her own. Bekah is just glowing!

Taking Delano Park Family & Maternity Photos

It is always a delight to take photos at the beautiful Delano Park Rose Garden. If you’re interested in family photos here, keep in mind that a photography permit is strictly required by the Delano Park Conservancy. But this is one of our Preferred Locations, so we take care of those logistics and fees for our clients.
